On September 11, 1969, Al Riehle opened the doors to his new dealership, Riehle Chevrolet. He envisioned a dealership that not only sells and services vehicles but a company that has a sole purpose of complete customer satisfaction. Mr. Riehle had many successful years of business with this customer oriented philosophy and the business continued to grow. In the year of 1983, the name of the company changed to Star Chevrolet as Mr. Riehle entered into a partnership with Jack Delaney, owner of Delaney Chevrolet Buick Honda in Indiana, PA. Mr. Delaney brought with him the tremendous reputation of his Indiana store and together they would create the ultimate customer experience in buying and servicing vehicles.
In 1995, Al Riehle retired after 26 years of business to the sunny Florida coast, and Mr. Delaney became the sole owner of Star Chevrolet. He kept the same vision of customer service and with the addition of the Nissan and Volvo franchises, the company flourished. The company has developed a great mixture of new and used vehicle product, which leads to the name of Star Chevrolet Nissan Volvo. The company can now claim that it is one of the fastest growing volume dealers in Western Pennsylvania and the customer satisfaction has never been higher. This leads to why the company and its customers have developed the slogan "Why would you by from anyone else?"
